Una puta mierda

I must reblog this. I’m university professor and this is the story (told by another professor) about the present reality in the Spanish University. Brilliant students being forced to quit their studies because the rise in the fees. The present government wants to close the public and universal education system so only the rich people could afford to study. We are not suffering only an economical crisis, we are suffering a social breakup that will have serious consequences.

SCIENTIA

    • A great part is because EU, but mostly is due to the little knowledge about economics of politicians and to the fact that they are slaves of the factic powers (banks, great companies,…). Present “economy” is just smoke. Economy is the balance among goods produced and consumed. But when you introduce speculation you break the equilibrium. The system has been distorted and the politicians don’t want to change it because… well, just say that politicians love more their chairs in the parliament than their fellow countrymen.

      • I can almost understand dear Santi, before this government the economy was going so badly, but I can’t say that democracy got a damage… But right now, with this government (almost more ten years) economy is amazing and not bad! Even one the best country about economy in all europe… on the other hand democracy is not in safe… US warned us a few days ago, “You shouldn’t make people to make a choice between economy and democracy!”… I don’t know how all these happenings would be appeared by next election! We will see… Once again I remember what Platon says, 🙂 “Philosophers should be managing the countries…” But one thing I know, whoever comes to the government, to this magical chairs, they change!!!!! Have a nice day dear Santi, love, nia

      • Yes, Nia, that’s true!!! People must make their decissions voting. I don’t know in depth the situation in Turkey but, in Spain, the trouble is that the old political parties don’t serve the people but their own interests and, at present moment, there are no alternatives. I hope that honest people will arrive and things will change in the future!!!
