My last weeks… (or what are you doing in the field with students in January?)
Well, another time trying to return to “normal” life… I’ve spent these last weeks in the field with students and now the memory of those days fills my brain.
On one hand, I’m tired of being all the day trying to fill their minds with words, ideas and philosophy. It’s exhausting! In addition, I don’t like being away from my family for several weeks (I must recognize, I’m daugther-adict).
But, on the other hand, I find stimulating to exchange experiences with the young people (and trying to remember that, once upon a time, I was a youngster too), isolated from the outer world (we were all the day away from populated places, and at night we were so tired to see TV), and without the bombing of news that use to sink our spirit.
Today, some photos of these days (I took really few as I was teaching most of my time).

wonderful photographs, I’ll bet you are a great teacher to Juan
Thanks, John!!! I hope to be not too bad.
I wanted to be there with all your students
Sounds so nice… I am glad to see you again dear Santi, you can’t believe but my eyes looked for always… Wonderful photographs of this educational moments… Your subject of being there, makes interesting for me. Welcome back home, Thank you, Blessing and Happiness, love, nia
Thanks so much, Nia!!!
Excellent word Santi, as usual
(welcome back, again)
ps: work not word, but word(s) too
Thanks for the words too!!!
Thanks, Emiliano!!! Happy to be back again!!
Great photographs, Santi! The final shot is my favourite – the letterbox format really suits the subject. But they’re all great.
Thanks a lot, Richard!!! Yes, the last one is something special (that the reason for the tone, format and vignetting) as it brought to my mind a mixture between the scene of Jesus in the Mount of Olives and “The Last Supper” (being the apostles the students and the master the one of the light hat and the safety vest, who has been professor of everyone in the scene including me).
¡Qué estudiantes más afortunados!
Gracias, José María!!! No sé si ellos opinaran lo mismo!!! (enero en Teruel es un poco frío)
Por lo que veo en tu blog seguro que sí!!!
